Job Description

  • Preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts, comparison of actual spend to budgeted spend and reconciliation of differences.
  • Ensure all relevant accounting records are saved in a systematic order in the files and electronically as required under the Companies Act and Company Policy . 
  • Working with all departments and the management team to help make managing working capital. 
  • This includes optimizing Cash flow, Billing, Debtors and Creditors management, client monies reconciliations.   
  • Analyzing your company’s financial performance and making longer term forecasts.
  • Liaising with auditors/regulators and providing relevant information for financial and tax audits.
  • Reconciliations of Debtors, Creditors, Cash books, Payroll and processing in Sage Evolution ERP system.
  • All Financial reporting conforms to IFRS, Companies & Income Tax Acts and other relevant financial regulations, statutes or codes of best practice.
  • Managed Working Capital to ensure operational & long-term requirements are forecast & met.

Qualification:

  • Bookkeeping Diploma and 3-5 years’ experience in an Accountant/Bookkeeping Position.
  • In depth knowledge of accepted accounting practices, income statement. reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.  
  • Experience on Sage Evolution ERP system will be preferred.
  • Logical, analytical, precise and organized.
