Job Description
- Research,plan,prepare and evaluate lesson notes and forecast;including structuring schemes of work and lesson plans to institute standards.
- Teach assigned students according to their educational needs and help prepare them for formal assessment using awarding body document required .
- Provide both theoretical and practical lessons as per forecast schedule.
- Asses record and report on student development progress and attachment
- Be responsible and accountable for planning and managing of academics programs and activities to the highest standards Be responsible for developing a communication structure for both student and staff.
- Be responsible for assigning the right teacher to ensure the students have the best of experience .
- Asses teacher and students performance for all catering programs .
- Participate in recruitment of teachers for catering programs.
- Develop and enhance teaching practice of teaching staff .
- Create dynamic and best research environment for staff student .
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principle.
- Create a sale environment for both staff and students by ensuring teachers are implementing the right safety procedure in accordance with the institute health safety .
Qualification and Requirements- NVTI/COVET/HND/ Degree in home economics/home science /hospitality management and catering
- At least 5 years in a teaching environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Fair knowledge of teachers assessment tools
- Experience in supervisory role will be an advantage
