Job Description
- Development and implementation of general practices within the capture, maintenance and integrity of all sorts of exploration geology records.
- To enhance and hold satisfactory assurance / great manage protocols and structures for all exploration facts.
- To provide steering to exploration geologists and other database customers in the management, visualization and presentation of exploration records.
- Prepares and supervises the education of stories as required on the geologic information, models, parameters and technical risks associated with exploration inputs to useful resource and reserve fashions, engineering studies and regulatory reviews.
- Updates and keeps all GIS datasets in an green manor, at the same time as building and maintaining a GIS database for use through more than one departments and users.
- Performs technical audits, summarizes information and communicates to key leaders.
- Works carefully with Technical Services and running departments within the capture and analysis of geological statistics.
- Works frequently with GIS to construct maps and figures for various reviews and displays.
- Stays modern-day in fields of hobby – databases and database control structures, GIS, general IT, web-based totally services.

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Geology, Earth Sciences or a related field
- Additional specialized training or enjoy of up to four years inside the specialised field of information fine manage and geological modelling
- More than 5 years of related work enjoy in an operational and assignment envrionment. Additional range of technical and operating experiencce inside the mining industry is an asset
- Experience running with teams within the mining industry
- Proficiency with exploration and database software (Vulcan, Leapfrog, AcQuire, ArcGIS, etc.) is appropriate and knowledge of SQL
- Good interpersonal talents required
- Well-developed technical record writing and presentation capabilities. Very strong communications capabilities. Team player with a robust inclination toward developing co-operative answers.
- Must be self-directed and work well in an unbiased environment and additionally as a member of the technical crew.
