Job Description
- Provides support for the development and design of effective curriculum, lesson planning, instructional approaches and materials.
- Designs, coordinates, plans implementation of strategies to advance teacher professional development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Master s Degree or Ph.D. in an educational field with experience teaching (grades 1 6) literacy/numeracy or related fields.
- Prior experience with development of basic education literacy and numeracy curricula and materials, training programs, classroom monitoring protocols, and tests and assessments is required.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in the education sector with deep understanding of basic education (grades 1 6) literacy and numeracy education best practices and research.
- Experience working and teaching in Lebanese schools and knowledge of the Lebanese educational system
- Experience in collaboration with Lebanese government and ministry counterparts, and local capacity development.
- Knowledge of a balanced literacy framework, early literacy competencies and reading diagnostic measures.
