Job Description
- Motivate their team, giving feedback and constructive assessment of the work done.
- Coordinate and schedule their team, ensuring quality work.
- Hands-on duties such as troubleshooting and repair when needed.
- Administrative duties such as inventory, work requests, record-keeping and budgeting.
- Recommend and draft operating procedures for equipment as well as preventive maintenance.
- Ensure that the company is stocked with any necessary supplies for emergency repairs.
- Follow up preventive maintenance yearly planners and perform inspections.
- To execute any other duties relevant to the position and work environment as instructed by the Facilities Manager.
- A pleasant and cheerful personality, good communication skills and patience are key assets.
- A flexible and willing approach to work, including working outside office hours as the needs may dictate.
- Oriented to complete his tasks efficiently and to a high level of attention to detail.
- Resilience and ability to work in a testing environment without giving up.
- Has a strong work ethic and believe in doing things the correct way.
- Commands respect with his technical knowledge.
- Acceptance of different working cultures.
- A good level of fitness is required as some physical exertion is required as part of the job.
