Job Description
- Assisting farmers through imparting the necessary agronomy practices such as seedbed processes, fertilizer application, curing to improve on production and yield including quality of the leaf.
- Facilitate the distribution of the Inputs scheme in the region.
- Responsible in the recovery of loans.
- Monitor adherence to schedules and statutory requirements including planting dates, destruction of stocks.
- Training of farmers.
- Ensuring that Afforestation programs are carried out well.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A diploma/ degree in Agriculture
- Certificate in tobacco training
- 2-3 year's relevant working experience.
