Job Description

  • Data Management and Large-scale system Development.
  • Pulling together datasets/ creating analytical datasets for statistical analysis (R, SAS, Stata).
  • Experience in database design/ development (SQL Server/ MySQL/ PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in Data migration, using ETL to integrate huge amounts of data
  • Experience with Pentaho would be ideal.
  • Creating Data visualisation dashboards with BI reporting tools.
  • Liaising with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical stakeholders)
  • Practical experience and thorough understanding of traditional software development in high-level languages such as C# and Java.
  • Knowledge of RedCap, Survey Solutions and DataFax.
  • Passion for and the desire to learn Big Data technologies (any Big Data experience is highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of Hadoop, MongoDB, Sprak.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques.
