Job Description
- Provide anesthesia services for patients undergoing Surgical procedures.
- Planning anesthesia services through thorough review of patients pre, intra and post operatively.
- Ensure quality and safety of all anesthetic medical activities.
- Organize and oversee the operating room at the hospital.
- Ensure safe and efficient storage and use of resources including equipment.
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting of Medical activities in operating room.
- Ensure adherence to the established and approved guidelines and practice.
- Ensure successfully recovery of patients who have undergone Surgery.
Job Qualifications:
- Be a Kenyan citizen.
- Be a holder of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) degree from an institution that is recognized in Kenya.
- Master of Medicine degree in Anesthesia from a University recognized in Kenya
- Must be registered by the Kenya Medical practitioners and Dentists Board.
- Valid Professional Practice License.
- Must have good interpersonal and Communication skills.
- Specialist Recognition as an anesthesiologist desirable.
