Job Description

  • Manage and process periodic (weekly, bimonthly or monthly) payrolls, including management reporting and statuary filings.
  • Create and maintain month end payroll journals for posting in general ledgers.
  •  Ascertain that the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities such as salaries and leave management are accurately handled.
  •  Coach, mentor and train staff members to ensure that they perform work duties in accordance to standards and protocols.
  •  Prepare complex payroll and human resource information for data input purposes, and assist in checking that quality control measures are undertaken properly.
  •  Assist the company in meeting its taxation and superannuation obligations, along with ensuring that appropriate returns and processed and prepared on time.
  • Process manual timecards and worksheets to ensure accurate running of payroll processes.
  • Initialize journal entries and handle balancing out accounts activities with precision and accuracy.
  •  Provide assistance in auditing and administering terminated employees’ files and records.
  • Keep abreast of current payroll tax requirements and advise management on pay practices, along with fringe benefit reporting processes.
