Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To correctly manipulate the procurement of strategic providers.
  • Identify alternative suppliers both domestically and internationally.
  • Respond to requests in a timely way and be proactive in seeking out capability sourcing possibilities.
  • Determine amount and timing of deliveries.
  • Negotiate excessive quantity discounts with key Suppliers.
  • Research and assume shifts in the negotiating strength of suppliers.
  • Track and report savings for every done strategy.
  • Together with the Supply Chain Manager, expand shopping guidelines and suggestions that successfully balance administrative burden, price financial savings and risk/ legal responsibility.
  • Perform value and situation analysis and benchmarking.
  • Perform spend analysis based on contemporary supplier records and perceive opportunities for fee financial savings.
  • Work cross-functionally within a matrix organisational team structure and work on multiple projects concurrently.
Requirements:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
  • 3-five years’ recent experience as a Sourcing Specialist inside the production enterprise (preferably from the defence systems/ ammunition surroundings).
  • Effectively manage the procurement of strategic providers.
  • Ensure maximisation of dealer performance and price effectiveness supporting the organization’s strategic projects.
