Job Description
- Collect data as per the tools, procedures and guidance provided for the them at team standardization training.
- Ensure the data quality and integrity of the data to be collected and inform any data quality concerns for INSPIRE MEAL team.
- Submit all the electronic (for quantitative) / hard copy (for qualitative) data for SCI as per the agreed data collection and submission procedures.
- Submit transcribed and translated (in to English) version of qualitative data.
- Submit a brief regional report on the data collection process for SCI as part of the deliverables.
- Maintain the safety and security of tablets and other data collection tools provided for the purpose.

- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- BSC or BA degree in, Statistics, Public Health, Nutrition, Demography, Sociology, Anthropology Agriculture or Food Security and Livelihood, Gender equality, WASH or environmental science, Social Science or other related fields.
- Relevant professional experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection.
- Proven expertise of carrying out large scale qualitative and quantitative data collection focusing ideally on Maternal and Child health and nutrition, food security and livelihood, gender and WASH;
- Previous experience of data collection on the project intervention woreda’s.
- Proficient on Listening, speaking, reading and writing on local languages (Afari and/ or Amhara) that are applied for data collection language.
- Hands-on experience on electronic data collection for quantitative surveys and different electronic data collection software including Kobo and ODK.
- Excellent English oral and writing communication skills.
