Responsibilities:
- Oversee full cycle accounts payable and receivable functions including processing, reporting and reconciliations
- Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing procedures including accruals, account reconciliations and roll-forward testing
- Compile monthly and annual financial statements, key operating metrics reports, and variance analysis
- Manage the annual audit process; assemble documentation and schedules, liaise with external auditors
- Analyze capital expenditures, manufacturing overhead, labor costs and other expenses for annual budgets
- Partner with operations managers to understand cost drivers and identify reduction opportunities
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, controls, procedures, and ensure SOX compliance
- Review general ledger transactions and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Implement improvements to streamline accounting practices and financial reporting
- Assist treasury team with cash flow planning and short-term investment decisions
- Research technical accounting issues and recommend appropriate treatment and disclosures
- Liaise with shareholders and governing bodies regarding financial performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP principles and financial accounting standards
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with ERP systems, Tally, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and drive projects
