Hardware and Networking Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and network infrastructure. This includes servers, PCs, routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Servers - They likely have multiple physical and virtual servers to host their business applications, databases, email systems, file storage etc. This would include web servers, application servers, database servers, mail servers etc.
- Networking Equipment - Switches, routers, firewalls etc. to build their office LAN and connect to the internet. This enables network connectivity between their devices and to the outside world.
