Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all items ordered
Ensure materials are appropriately stored
Manage and maintain inventory to operating levels to avoid supply
Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Update stakeholders on the status of their shipments in transit. Develop reports on cargo movements and various operational logistics issues. Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations
Preparing various reports on a weekly/monthly basis related to Finance & Export data. Assess existing logistics operations systems and advise on corrective measures to be undertaken.
Research potential vendors, compare & evaluate offers, negotiate prices & terms (payment, delivery time, warranty, etc.) Ensure purchase is cost-efficient, correct & high quality, follow timely delivery, physical inspection where required.
