Implementing HR policies
- Drive to implement HR policies across the West African region.
- Check and monitor any policy adherence and report deviation.
- Develop and maintain organization structure for all entities across West Africa
Recruitment & Induction
- To lead the effort of recruiting excellent resources for various entities.
- Engage with the HR Manager at the factory and coach him to perform better
- Conduct induction training for all Managerial staff and arrange the same for non-managerial staff
- Obtain feedback on induction training
Labor Relations & compliance
- Adept in handling labor matters from entry to exit. Anticipate and resolve complex problems and questions, including employee relations issues, in an economical and equitable manner compliant with legal regulations and general business practices, collaborating with General Counsel as needed.
- Must be conversant with the Labor Laws and statutory requirements across Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast & Benin
- Strictly adhere to statutory compliance
Skill building
- Prioritize building Attitude, Knowledge and Skills of employees across all the entities
- Organize and facilitate training programs for employees
Performance Management system
- Implement, monitor and facilitate employee performance evaluation across the geography based on SMART KRA& KPIs
Compensation & Benefits
- Keeps updated about any compensation and benefits change initiated by the respective governments of different countries in West Africa.
- Initiates relevant actions to comply with government requirements
Employee engagement
- Facilitate employee engagement programs at the rice plant and other companies to promote employee well being and binding with the company
MIS reports
- Organizes to generate HR MIS reports capturing HR analytics for management information and subsequent action
