Kokeshi, which are wooden dolls with round heads and cylinder bodies that began to be sold as souvenirs to the visitors of the hot springs in the Tohoku region towards the end of the Edo period. Each doll is hand painted and take about 2 weeks to complete the design + shipping directly from Japan. We offer customizations such as having the artist use a picture to paint the likeness on the doll.
