The heavy weight 270 gsm paper has a smooth white surface that is suitable for all dry media and ink. With both internal and surface sizing, it will accept light washes, wet media and watercolor as well. This is my first Tissot, and will certainly not be my last! I bought this at a store in Luzerne, Switzerland and the experience was everything I've come to expect from the Swiss - exceptional service, extreme pride in what they do, and excellent craftsmanship. While the watch is a little on the chunkier side, it's not overwhelming and the strap feels great. Every hand lines up perfectly with the markers and the chrono features are lightning fast and precise. I especially enjoy the subtle orange touches and pocked leather texture of the strap, both giving it its "basketball" name. Now if only they made a green variant with the Boston Celtics logo...
