There is some light moth tracking and a few very small moth holes which are actually rather difficult to see. The top of the hat is stitched together which was common to give the hat a better look but in this case it almost looks like it might have come from the maker that way, similar to how quality garments come with the pockets lightly sewn shut. I liked this can opener a lot when I first got it. It was easy to use, and it left smooth edges after opening the can. I also liked the fact the batteries were replaceable. However, after 4 months it stopped opening the cans. It just went around and around the edges. I tried replacing the batteries but it did not help. I plan to replace it with a different brand.
