It was manufactured in January of 1917 by Mills. The reverse is stenciled "D21F. A.", denoting use by Battery D of the 21st Field Artillery Regiment, which participated in the Battle of Saint Mihiel in Lorraine, France, the first major, independent U. NICE FABRIC, good sizing

These shirts are nice and long, which I appreciate being over 6' tall. I am always reluctant to buy any shirts that are not tall size, but these are long enough to solve that problem. The fabric is soft and comfortable... a good price for good shirts.
