1969 Fender Bandmaster TFL 5005D 40W Amplifier Head With Footswitch - UsedThe '69 Fender Silverface TFL5005D 40w Amp head is an early example of CBS era amps. This head measures a bit taller than other Fender amp heads at just over 2 feet tall. It is 40w and gets very loud and clean, with a drippy spring reverb. It has similar circuitry to Fender's Vibrolux and Vibroverb amplifiers, just as a head rather than a combo. Overall this amplifier is in good condition for its age. The grill cloth cover is ripped on the left side.

I got this flosser for an upcoming trip, but it is way to big. Would take up entirely too much room in my carry on. Whats more, the heads on the device do not click into place, which means it leaks and sprays all over. I took the plastic guard off one of the heads and that works better but it still leaks. I have done everything except hammer the heads in, but still, they do not click or twist into place. I cannot vouch for how well it works since I am unable to keep the heads on.
