You may want to test this stuff on a small area first before slathering it on. I had a bit of sunburn on my face and after showering, applied the gel and it worked great! Then.....contact dermatitis. My whole face blew up in a rash. Unfortunately, this didn't happen until the second day and I had already used the gel on my arms and legs as well. My face has cleared up, but the rest of me looks like I rolled around in poison ivy. I want to scratch my skin off. Pics don't do it justice. This is day 4 of the rash breaking out, so it's cleared up a little and I plan to borderline OD on benadryl this evening before I scratch my skin off. I wish I wasn't allergic, because it truly did work for my sunburn. I've not peeled at all and I was rather crispy.

Used this for our trip to Mexico in February 2026 to Huatulco. Wow, That place is hot!! I love the sun and usually I don’t burn. I may go red, but it softens to a brown. My husband on the other hand is Dutch so we have 2 colours: porcelain white and lobster red! This concoction was wonderful.
