Self-Release"Self Release" captures the bittersweet tension between a fractured past and resilient present, embodied in a frozen female statue. The golden upper body, crowned and serene, reflects a past selfintellectual, graceful, unburdened. Yet, beneath, trapped in ice, lies the part still crumbling. A hollow in the belly symbolizes a gnawing emotional void, while a golden washer near the feet represents the love of those who help her through the icy isolation.
