The leaves have an interestingly crinkled effect, unlike the other Houttuynia, this variety is slightly darker in colour than Chameleon. Little maintenance is required. Trim to tidy as required and after the foliage has died back in autumn. Plant in full sun to partial shade between 0cm and 10cm deep. I totally love my umbrella. The 10 foot size is perfect for the coverage I needed. The assembly was super easy. The Lake Blue color is more beautiful than the pictures displayed. UV coating is exactly what I need, after having skin cancer. It's also stable in light to moderate wind, thanks to the slits in each tiered layer, allowing wind to pass through.
