The True Carbon Frame reduces weight and size yet is as rigid as conventional materials. The reel weight has been reduced from by 15% for the 1000 series and by 30% for the 3000 series. The Air Rotor System improves balance and rotation and reduces rotor weight by 15 percent, the main reason for shedding the weight.

I bought this after reading several reviews that it is as effective as the original Dr. M. Having used both I can assert this product is NOT nearly as effective. I still had some of the original Dr. M. and did a half and half comparison and it was immediately clear. This exfoliate "pills" like the original but not nearly to the degree and when washed away the half I used the leftover Dr. M. was clean of dead skin and showed clear pores. The other half? Not so much. I'll be going back to the original.
