The handle broke right off at the metal connection. By the time you get a pair of reading glasses in it with your cell phone space is at a premium. If you are doing any type of daily traveling and you have to put mediation in your purse, it's a tight squeeze. Personally, this should be called an "evening bag" because this doesn't provide enough room for daily use and I certainly wouldn't call it a tote.
